Regulatory Disclaimer

This Regulatory Disclaimer sets out the regulatory status of VAULT LIMITED (company number OE025824, registered office: 44 Esplanade, St Helier, Jersey, JE4 9WG), trading as VaultPay and clarifies the boundaries of the services we provide. It applies to all visitors and clients and should be read together with our Terms of Use, Risk Disclosure and Indemnity & Risk Disclosure Agreement.

1. Regulatory status

VAULT LIMITED is a private company. We are not authorised, licensed or regulated as a bank, credit institution, acquirer, electronic-money institution, payment institution, money-services business, investment firm, insurance intermediary, crypto-asset service provider or any other regulated financial entity in Jersey, the United Kingdom, the European Union or any other jurisdiction.

2. Nature of services

We provide merchant preparation, compliance review, documentation support, application packaging and payment-partner coordination services. We act as an introducer and consultant. We do not (i) hold, transmit, settle or safeguard funds; (ii) issue payment instruments; (iii) acquire card or alternative-payment transactions; (iv) provide credit; (v) advise on regulated financial products; or (vi) carry out any activity that would, in the relevant jurisdiction, require authorisation by a financial regulator.

3. Independence of payment partners

All payment processing, acquiring, settlement, merchant-account opening and underwriting is provided by independent third parties operating under their own regulatory authorisations and contractual terms. VAULT LIMITED has no authority to approve applications, set pricing, release funds, modify reserves or override decisions taken by any payment partner.

4. No guarantee, no warranty

We make no representation, warranty or guarantee regarding (a) approval of any application; (b) pricing, reserves or settlement terms offered by any third party; (c) the regulatory status of any third party; (d) timelines for onboarding, settlement or investigation; or (e) the continued availability of any payment partner.

5. Jurisdictional matters

Information on vaultpay.org.uk is intended for businesses lawfully entitled to receive it. The website is not directed at, and our services are not offered to, persons or entities resident in jurisdictions where their provision would be prohibited or unauthorised, or where doing so would require VAULT LIMITED to obtain a local licence we do not hold. Visitors are responsible for ensuring that accessing our content and engaging us complies with local law.

6. Not advice

Nothing on this site or in our communications constitutes legal, regulatory, tax, accounting, investment or financial advice. Merchants must obtain independent professional advice tailored to their circumstances.

7. Compliance with law

Engaging VaultPay does not relieve a merchant of any obligation to comply with applicable laws, regulations or card-scheme rules, including in relation to licensing, anti-money-laundering, counter-terrorism financing, sanctions, consumer protection, advertising standards, data protection and tax.

8. Regulator communications

Where a competent authority makes a lawful request for information about a merchant or an application, we will respond in line with our legal obligations and our Privacy Policy. Merchants must immediately disclose to us any regulatory enquiry, investigation, enforcement action or notice that could affect their application or existing processing arrangements.
