Acceptable Use Policy
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets out the activities and conduct VAULT LIMITED (company number OE025824, registered office: 44 Esplanade, St Helier, Jersey, JE4 9WG), trading as VaultPay will not support, fund, facilitate or coordinate. It applies to anyone using vaultpay.org.uk, submitting an application, engaging our services or communicating with us.
1. Prohibited business activities
We will not work with, prepare applications for, or coordinate payment-partner introductions for merchants engaged in: unlicensed regulated activity (banking, lending, e-money, investments, insurance, securities, gambling, crypto-asset services where a licence is required); unlicensed pharmaceuticals, controlled substances or prescription medication; counterfeit, replica or trademark-infringing goods; weapons, explosives, ammunition or related accessories; human trafficking, slavery, forced labour or sexual exploitation of any person; child sexual abuse material in any form; terrorism financing or any activity supporting a designated terrorist organisation; sanctions evasion, including business with sanctioned persons, entities, vessels, ports or jurisdictions; shell entities lacking genuine economic substance; pyramid schemes, Ponzi schemes, matrix schemes or any business whose primary revenue depends on recruitment rather than the sale of a genuine product or service; deceptive sales practices, including negative-option billing without clear consent, dark patterns, fake scarcity or fake reviews; sale of personal data without lawful basis; and any other activity prohibited by Jersey, UK or EU law or by card-scheme rules.
2. Prohibited representational conduct
Applicants must not (a) misrepresent ownership, beneficial ownership, control or source of funds; (b) misrepresent the nature of products, services, geography of customers, average ticket or projected volume; (c) attempt to obtain a Merchant ID for a business different from the one disclosed in onboarding ("transaction laundering"); (d) miscode a Merchant Category Code to disguise the true nature of transactions; (e) operate websites that materially differ from the URLs disclosed at onboarding; (f) process transactions on behalf of an undisclosed third party; (g) attempt to circumvent dispute, chargeback or refund mechanisms; or (h) provide forged, altered or fraudulent documentation.
3. Acceptable conduct on the site
You may use vaultpay.org.uk only for its intended purpose: learning about our services, submitting genuine enquiries or applications, and communicating in good faith with our team. You must not abuse, threaten, harass or attempt to coerce any employee or contractor. Threats, harassment or abusive behaviour will result in immediate termination of engagement and may be reported to law-enforcement authorities.
4. Security and platform integrity
You must not (i) probe, scan or test the vulnerability of our systems; (ii) interfere with availability, including denial-of-service activity; (iii) use automated tools to scrape or submit applications; (iv) attempt to access accounts, data or systems you are not authorised to access; or (v) introduce viruses, worms, trojans or any malicious code.
5. Reporting violations
If you become aware of suspected violations of this AUP — including suspected fraud, misuse of payment credentials, sanctions exposure, or unlawful conduct by a merchant introduced through us — report it confidentially to support@vaultpay.org.uk. Whistle-blower reports are taken seriously and handled with appropriate confidentiality.
6. Enforcement
We reserve the right, in our absolute discretion, to refuse, suspend or terminate any engagement, decline to forward an application, withdraw an existing introduction, notify the relevant acquiring bank, freeze our deliverables, retain documentation for regulatory purposes and report to competent authorities where we reasonably believe this AUP has been breached. Termination on AUP grounds does not entitle you to a refund of fees already invoiced.
